Digital Transformation in Consulting: Tools That Make a Difference

These clients don’t value your time. They frequently cancel meetings, expect immediate responses at all hours, and generally act as if your business exists solely to serve them.

1. Respect Deficient

These clients don’t value your time. They frequently cancel meetings, expect immediate responses at all hours, and generally act as if your business exists solely to serve them.

2. Decision Avoiders

These clients can’t commit, requiring excessive iterations and approvals. Every project becomes an endless loop of “let me think about it” and “can we see just one more option?”

3. Action Avoiders

These clients are similar to above but a bit different. They enthusiastically commit to projects and declare them “top priorities,” then consistently fail to follow through on even basic agreed-upon tasks. They respond to check-ins with endless excuses while genuinely believing their own rhetoric about being committed to change.

4. Communication Ghosters

These are the clients who disappear during critical project phases and then reappear with urgent demands. Effective collaboration requires consistent communication from both sides.

We specialize in tailored solutions for business growth and efficiency, optimizing operations with expert guidance and innovative strategies for sustainable success.
5. Perpetual Hagglers

These types constantly push for discounts and treat your expertise like a commodity. When someone focuses solely on price rather than value, they’re showing you exactly how they view your relationship.

6. Scope Creepers

These clients regularly add requirements without acknowledging the need for additional compensation. “Could you just add this one small thing?” quickly becomes death by a thousand cuts to your profitability.

7. Financially Unstable

These clients are organizations with cash flow issues or those reluctant to discuss budget upfront present obvious risks. If they can’t have an open conversation about money now, imagine what happens when it’s time to pay.

8. Serial Complainers

These are the types who are never satisfied regardless of outcomes and find issues with everything. Some people simply enjoy the process of complaining, and no level of service will change that fundamental trait.
